Welcome to subdomain appletv.sundog.dk. you landed on my AppleTV 2 running lighttpd webserver
The AppleTV 2 runs xmbc quite good after some config and its ok for watching 720p movies, but lets face it people want 1080p and here the AppleTV 2 is not fast enough.
If you are like me and not using it for movies etc. anyway, why not use it as webserver, its damm small and takes way less power than many other small boxes. The AppleTV can easy run both gui and webserver, but to save resources I recoment disabling the gui when your only using it for webserver. You can find most of the informations here at technoids.com

What can you find on this server.. not much, its mostly just for fun and my own use. Yet its a work in progress and I am considering setting up a wiki with the progress.
So far its running lighttpd, php, mysql, cacti.. gives some nice graphs: stats (I cant get net-snmp installed so my cacti is getting the snmp data from a local debian server, ping data is working fine on the apple tv)
Beside that I managed to get other various services running; r-u-on, fring overlook, prosody, wiki (not configured yet)
Todo list: gallery3, weather station to rrd graphs, maybe some design on the site :-)
